Why Root/Jailbreak Android/iOS Devices

Reasons to Root/Jailbreak  Android/iOS Devices

If you've got never considered jailbreaking your Android device, then you'll be wondering why to try to to this. Why undergo the process? What would be good? Well, the subsequent are a number of the highest reasons that jailbreaking your device could be an honest idea.

Rootng allows you to remove bottlenecks and open Android at an unprecedented level of control. With routing, you can control almost every aspect of your device and let the software work the way you want. You are no longer a slave to OEMs and their slow (or none) support, bloatware, and questionable options. Instead, you control what stays on your phone and what goes.

But routing is more than just for people interesting in tampering, it is also a way to improve your phone and extend the life of older devices. This is a way to free yourself from Google's watch and a way to improve security. This allows you to increase the functionality of apps and improve the way the hardware works. And this puts you in control of your data, not the inability of OEMs and carriers.

1- Clean junk files automatically

Although we generally do not recommend using file cleaner apps because they rarely offer more than a placebo effect, some are good. SD Med is one of them. This easily tops our list of junk-cleaning apps, and we would recommend installing the app on any device over a year old. What SD Mad does is scan your hard drive for leftover data from uninstalled apps, empty folders, unused system files, and delete them for you.

The problem is that without root, SD Med has restricted access, especially anything that will modify the system app. With root, SD Made can scan your entire hard drive and microSD card. It can modify and delete any file, giving you a better overall experience. And when you combine it with the ability to run automatically, you can ensure that your phone will last longer.

2- Manage your kernel like a pro

The kernel is an essential component of your phone that handles communication between hardware and software. The default kernels that come with Android are designed by OEMs to manage their hard drives and run them according to their testing. You have virtually no access to it and cannot adjust its settings.

With the root, he changes. You can flash a custom kernel, such as ElementalX or Franco kernel, and make important adjustments to the way it is tuned. You can overclock your Gold core at a higher frequency for more power (Gold cores are cores used for power-intensive activities), or underclock for better battery life. You can do the same with the Silver core (Silver core is a light workload such as the core used for reading text). You can adjust the strength of the vibration motor or even rearrange the performance of your phone.

<<Improve security>>

Routing is said to make your device less secure. This is not at all true - as long as you use the Root Management app to properly access Superuser access, you actually improve the overall security of your phone by rooting it.

You can also change how your phone deals with various loads using something known as a governor. We'll talk more about governors later, but the simple explanation is that it controls how your phone adjusts the CPU frequency based on the kind of work currently being done.

3- Cheat games

Routing also allows you to cheat in mobile games. While it is possible to achieve some methods without rooting, you have much better control. Some tools will let you maximize your health, maximize in-game currency, free in-app purchases, and more. Of course, we do not cheat or support, but it is always a good thing to have options.

4- Update old phone

After about two years, most OEMs will stop pushing updates on phones. At that time, it is not profitable for them as they upgrade to a new device. But those who can't upgrade their device get stuck with an insecure phone that uses outdated software with vulnerabilities and bugs that Google already fixes. Another major problem is that so far many phones are abandoned after one year, resulting in many new phones being unsafe. A great example of this is LeEco, which ceased US operations a year after releasing its first phone in the market.

The great thing about routing is that many phones are later supported by developers as custom ROMs. By installing a custom ROM, you can update your phone to a new version of Android. Depending on the support, this may be a software letter update, but there are phones that receive support even further. More importantly, the security patch will usually be pushed out each month by the developer. This means that after the support of OEM your phone will remain secure for years.

5- Get Apple's 3D Touch

Apple's 3D Touch is a unique feature that lets you apply a certain amount of force to the display to bring a unique choice to apps. While this technology debuting with Huawei Mate S requires special hardware with root and Xposed modules, you can emulate this feature. The module will replace long pressing (and its options) with a specific pressurized touch. With some configurations, you can eliminate accidental long presses or make it easier to drag menus.

6- Change your IMEI number

Your IMEI number, or international mobile device identification, is a unique numeric identifier that is associated with your phone. It is often used to track your phone if it is ever stolen or lost. This is similar to the car's VIN. While you should never need to change it, you may be in a situation where no one wants you who is tracking you. By using Root and Xposed, you can spoil this number, so whatever app is used to track you is fed the wrong data.

There are some modules that will allow you to complete it, all of which you must route first. One of the better ones is the device ID mask. With this module, you can not only change the IMEI number, but also include other identifiers, including serial number, manufacturer serial, Bluetooth MAC address, Wi-Fi MAC address, and more.

7- Change your serial number

Apart from the IMEI number, another identifier associated with your phone is its serial number. Like IMEI, you can change this number using Xposed. While the module described earlier can accomplish this, there is another module that will do it for free.

Using the module serial number changer, you can hide your actual ID by feeding the apps a different number when requested. With Oreo and newer Android phones, you can use the same module to feed random serial numbers to the application, protecting your privacy. You can also create your own serial number.

But like IMEI, you cannot change this number permanently. If you uninstall the app, your serial number will revert back to the original. Still, this is a great app for those looking for extra privacy.

<<Customize everything>>
The real fun part when it comes to root is sheer customizability. There is virtually nothing about your phone's software that you cannot tweak to your heart's content when it is rooted.

8- Better battery management

Before introducing Android Dose mode, battery life on most Android devices was terrible. What Doze did when your phone went idle was that background power consumption was improved by creating hibernation mode. Notifications for all high-priority apps were pushed when you were not using your device, reducing battery consumption. What apps like Greenify maximize this feature for better battery.

In hibernation mode usually a select duration is required to pass without any movement of your phone. Greenify can hibernate apps as soon as your phone screen turns off. It can rapidly wake up hibernating apps using a feature called Shallow Hibernation, which wakes up apps for a period, gives them high priority, then returns them to hibernation. Greenif can be used without root, but its capacity is quite limited. However, when given root access, it will significantly improve your battery life.

9- Enjoy Hidden Features

Your Android device has many hidden features. Unfortunately, most users never access those features. When you root your device, you can do all kinds of things that you never knew you could do before.

Here are some of our favorite features that you can enjoy only when you root Android:

➣ Attach the PlayStation controller to your phone and use it to control mobile games.

➣Prevent specific callers from calling at certain times.

➣Download applications that are not available in your country.

➣Trick the website and Google to think of your phone from a different area.

➣Protect yourself from public Wi-Fi networks and ARP, DOS and MITM attacks.

➣Use your camera in high-fps mode, including enabling 240fps slow speeds on phones where it is not officially a feature.

10- Block Ads in Any App

See, we all understand the need for occasional advertisements - this is how we make money. But advertisements can also get in the way and use data. If you want to block ads in certain applications or certain devices, rooting is the best way to do this. AdFree, AdBlock Plus, and Ad Away are all great options. Of course, if you're not rooted, going into airplane mode also works in a pinch.
